There are so many different events happening on the Kitsap Peninsula during the months of November and December. Why not take an extra day or two off and make it a nice long weekend? Celebrate the Holiday Season on the Kitsap Peninsula - Cities and towns around the Kitsap Peninsula region are glowing with bright colored lights, festive window displays, and lots of holiday cheer to share with visiting family and friends. Celebrate holiday concerts, tree lightings, lighted boat parades, cultural celebrations, holiday entertainment and lots of parties in breweries, bars and clubs from Kingston to Gig Harbor.

November 16-18 - Holiday Gift & Food Fair – Kitsap County Fairgrounds

November 17 - Barn Holiday Bazaar
Bainbridge Island's new holiday tradition featuring a wide variety of arts, crafts and artisan foods. From jewelry to wood baskets, arts, basketry to weaving and more. Click here for details.

November 24-25 - 5th Annual Jingle Fest
A two holiday craft and gift show with a wide variety of exhibitors, unique crafters and food vendors. A benefit for Meals on Wheels Kitsap. Click here for details.

November 24- December 24 - Free Carriage Rides in Little Norway
Enjoy free horse-drawn carriage rides, visits by Father Christmas and strolls around the charming shops and eateries in Historic Downtown Poulsbo. Click here for details.

Bainbridge Island Winter Studio Tour
Celebrate the beauty and craftsmanship of local, handmade art during this annual tour of local studios to meet artists and discuss their work and vision in person. Click here for details.

DECEMBER EVENTS

 Saturday – December 1 - There are so many events happening! 

JuleFest & Poulsbo’s Sons of Norway Holiday Bazaar - Celebrate a traditional Scandinavian holiday event all day long and into the night. Shop at the bazaar, dance around the tree, and greet the Santa Lucia bride as she arrives by boat and is joined by "Vikings" to light the bon fire. Shops open late. Click here for details. 

Chimes & Lights and Local Events - Downtown Port Orchard - A classic family holiday evening with hay-wagon rides, arts & crafts bazaar, storytelling, tree lighting, Christmas Lane lighted boats at the marina, and fireworks. For pet lovers there is the annual Pouch & Purr Holiday Pet Parade and costume contest. Click here for details. 

Kingston Cove Christmas - The fun starts in the afternoon with activities and refreshments for all ages and lasts into the night with the largest lighted display in the region. See half a million individual lighted figures hand-made by volunteers forming flowers, sea creatures, and holiday images. On display until December 30th. Click here for details. 

Jingle Bell Run - Port Orchard - Join this popular holiday-themed 5K race to help conquer arthritis! Family friendly. Starts at City Hall. Click here for details.

Sunday – December 2 - Poulsbo Community Orchestra Christmas Concert - Handel’s Messiah Choral Selections, Mozart and Holiday Sign Along. Click here for details. 

Friday – December 7 -  Magic In Manette - Santa Claus rolls into town on the fire truck at 5:15, at 7:00 sing carols and at 7:15 see the tree lighting. Activities for kids, shopping in smart little shops will put you in the holiday spirit. Click here for details. 

Saturday – December 8
Bremerton Winterfest – Downtown - 4-8 pm
Stroll downtown museums, shops, & cafes to see exhibits and to enjoy holiday refreshments! Horse drawn carriage rides 5 to 8 pm. Marching band arrives at 5:30, along with Santa via fire truck at the Puget Sound Navy Museum. Click here for details.

Bainbridge Island Winter Wonderland  - Annual family event features face painting, balloon clowns, holiday crafts, Santa, cider, cookies, lighted boat parade, S’mores with the Squad, ice sculptures, holiday music and reindeer. FREE! Click here for details.

Bremerton Symphony Holiday Happenings - Maestro Alan Futterman and the Bremerton Symphony Orchestra are joined by Music Director LeeAnne Campos and the Bremerton Symphony Chorale for this lovely holiday music fest in Bremerton. Click here for details. 

Friday - December 14 - Celebrate Gig Harbor’s Scandinavian heritage at Harbor History Museum’s 5th Annual Light Up the Night festivities. Crafts, games, and traditional Scandinavian snacks are the star at this family-friendly event. Click here for details. 

December 15 – January 9 - Bloedel Holiday Village
Discover the magic of Holiday Village at Bloedel, an imaginative tiny town that brings home big memories. Intricately designed, hand-made pint-size palaces, tree houses, and cabins ‘Wow!” the young and young-at-heart. Click here for details. 

December 20 & 22 - Bloedel Solstice Walks - December 21 & 23 - Bloedel Silent Walks 
Make the darkest days of the year a little brighter with a candle-lit walk through Bloedel Reserve. All walks begin at the Gatehouse and take place rain or shine. The only light will be from our candles. Click here for details.

Friday - December 21 - Admiral Theatre – The Polar Express Movie
One of the most highly visual movies you’ll ever see! Inspired by the beloved children’s book by Chris Van Allsburg. A doubting young boy takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole in a tale of self-discovery and belief in the possible. Click here for details.

Argosy Holiday Cruise 
Starts at the Port of Poulsbo with carols sung by members of the North Kitsap Northern Lights Choir. The majestic ship sails around Liberty Bay, Lemolo, Suquamish and back to port.

Saturday - December 8  

Port Orchard Yacht Club Lighted Boat Parade  4:30 -10 pm 
Sails from Southworth back to yacht club in downtown waterfront

Gig Harbor Lighted Boat Parade - 5-7 pm

Friday - December 14  

Bremerton Yacht Club Lighted Boat Parade

Pooch & Purr Parade - Port Orchard – December 1
Furry friends need holiday cheer too! Dress yourself and your four-legged companions in seasonal finery and join the parade at 4 p.m. All pets must be on a leash. Part of the day holiday events including Jingle Bell run and Chimes and Lights Festival.
