Transportation Services

Washington State's #1 tourist attraction, the Washington State Ferries, carries both walk-on passengers and vehicles and crosses Puget Sound to the Kitsap Peninisula. For a complete list of schedules, rates and options. visit Washington State Ferry website.

Foot & Passenger Services:

Historic Carlisle II - Hop aboard one of the 1900 original Mosquito Fleet boats for an enjoyable 10-minute ride between the Bremerton Harborside Marina and Port Orchard Marina. Leaves every 30 minutes. You can see an exhibit of the history of the Mosquito Fleet...including a 1900's photo of the Carlisle II at the Kitsap County Historical Museum in Bremerton and the Sidney Museum in Port Orchard. Kingston Sound Runner
Kingston Sound Runner -
Used as a commuter boat, the Sound Runner also offers transportation to and from Seattle for special events. Also available for charter and meetings. Click week day and special event schedule information.

Bus Service: Kitsap Transit meets each ferry, and offers public transportation througout the area, with connections to the Olympic Peninsula via Jefferson Transit.

Kitsap Transit also provides services for special needs via its ACCESS services.

The Kitsap Peninsula is accessible from the Olympic Peninsula (West) via the Hood Canal Bridge and from Tacoma (South) via HWY 16 and the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Updates and web cams are on their web sites.

The Bremerton-Kitsap Transporter provides service to and from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

Bremerton-Kitsap Airporter, Inc.™ provides scheduled ground transportation to and from Sea-Tac Airport, BKA also provides regular airport shuttle service from ten convenient locations on the Kitsap Peninsula, and eight locations on Ft.
