Eagle Watching Tours

For a LIMITED TIME the Kitsap Peninsula offers: Guided Eagle Watching Adventure Tours!

Bald Eagles make the Kitsap Peninsula home year ‘round, but during April and May they are nesting and raising their young making NOW the best time to tour the peninsula by water and view the eagles.

Eagles and other watchable wildlife can be viewed from the water allowing you to observe them without disrupting them or their habitat.

The Kitsap Peninsula – just far enough to get away - a short, scenic ride across Puget Sound or across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.

Arrive the evening before the tour and spend a night in the Norwegian town of Poulsbo. The evening is your own to enjoy one of the many local restaurants close by (we’ll give you a list!).  In the morning you will enjoy a breakfast buffet, then into your limo for a ride to the dock where you board the tour boat.  Your tour will take you around the peninsula with a guide pointing out the eagle territories and nests as well as other watchable wildlife and points of interest.  The boat will carry kayaks and act as the “mother ship” when you reach quiet bays where you will have the opportunity to kayak and explore further.

Lunch, snacks and beverages will be provided and the day will end with a group dinner and limo ride back to your hotel.  Sunday you can again enjoy a buffet breakfast and are free to explore the area further then leisurely head home.

Your complete package is $345 (double occupancy) and includes:

  • 2 nights lodging at the Poulsbo Inn & Suites.
  • Buffet breakfast both days, box lunch aboard the boat, snacks/beverages and a group dinner.
  • Guided tour aboard the 46 foot passenger boat “Joker”, operated by Venture Charters, viewing the Bald Eagles and other wildlife.
  • Optional kayak tours and instruction from the boat provided by Olympic Outdoor Center.
  • Limousine transportation to and from the hotel provided by RTC Express Inc.

Each of these limited tours will have a minimum of 10, and maximum of 18 to allow us to provide the best personalized experience possible.

The tour is offered:

  • Saturday, April 9 (arrive April 8, depart April 10)
  • Tuesday, April 19 (arrive April 18, depart April 20)
  • Saturday, May 7 (arrive May 6, depart May 8)

To make your reservations call the Poulsbo Inn & Suites at 360.779.3921 or 800.597.5151.
