Grapeview
On scenic Case Inlet and named for nearby vineyards, Grapeview is a small, quiet community convenient for boating, fishing, and sightseeing activities. Included in this area is Stretch Island, Detroit Town site, Stadium Beach, Treasure Island, and Pirates Cove.
The first settler in the area, Lambert Evans, homesteaded on the North end of StretchIsland in 1862. In 1883 Charlie and Sarah Anderson homesteaded on the South end of the Island. On the mainland settlement started around 1885.
