Silverdale Welcomes The Dance Gallery (2.0!)

This just in from our good friend Kara Morkert at the Dance Gallery for all parents tired of running between activities!

The Dance Gallery School of Music and Dance has completed its Grand Opening in Silverdale! The facility features music lessons and dance classes for all ages.

The new, second location for the Dance Gallery's School of Music and Dance can be found at 9311 Silverdale Way. The original location remains in Port Orchard.

The school offers a wide variety of dance classes such as:
Ballet*Pointe*Jazz*Tap*Lyrical*Funk*Modern*Adult*Turns & Leaps*Kinder Dance and Mom and me, for all ages and abilities.

In addition to the dance program they will also offer a complete music program consisting of Piano*Keyboard*Voice*Electric/Acoustic Guitar*Bass Guitar*Flute*Clarinet*Saxophone*Trumpet*Violin*Cello*Children’s Choir *Adult Choir *Preschool Music Program* Theory and Music History - with both private and group lessons available.

The Dance Gallery is proud to expand from their original location in down town Port Orchard to serve Silverdale and surrounding communities. Since 1994 almost 5,000 students have taken lessons at The Dance Gallery. The Gallery started as a very small studio, but has grown to become one of the largest - as well as the only - music and dance school in Kitsap County.

Lessons are available with over 13 different instructors. Lesson times are available 6 days each week, with qualified, Professional and caring instructors who offer a variety of backgrounds and teaching styles to ensure that parents and students can find a good personality fit."

And I'll bet that until now none of you thought of dance as a "sport?" Well, Kara is one of the premier competitive dance instructors in the United States (plus I'll bet she'd wrassle up a pretty good argument concerning the merits of dance as "sport!")
