Monica's Waterfront Bakery & Cafe to host McCrea Cellars

Join us for our next "Friday Night Wine Down"!
Friday, May 16th, 4-7pm, reservations required

The Syrahs of Washington are rapidly becoming the signature wine of the State, and the McCrea Syrahs have laid the foundation for what has become a phenomenon of significant proportion in the Pacific Northwest. McCrea Cellars is Washington State's first winery entirely dedicated to Syrah and Rhône varietal wines. We invite you inside the world of Washington Rhône wines, skillfully crafted to capture the depth and grace of these noble vines. Named among the "Top 100 Wineries" in Wine & Spirits Magazine, 2007, these wines are routinely awarded and highly acclaimed.

We have created a menu that will pair perfectly with these fabulous wines. Each bite of food will compliment the wines, bringing out the award winning nuances of each sip that you take. For more information and reservations call, visit, or surf: 360 698 2991, 3472 NW Byron St-Silverdale, www.waterfrontbakery.com. Remember, we sell our wine at retail, not restaurant prices!

We can't wait to see you here!

RE: ANTIQUE APPRAISAL FAIR

Do you have a doll from your childhood, a broach from grandma, a piece of glassware you found at the garage sale, a painting that’s been in the family for generations? How about a special clock or watch, an item of Black American history, a piece of pottery, a lamp, a table, a chair, an old book, an antique toy or grandpa’s tools? Or maybe there’s that one thing that you’ve had around for a long time and you just don’t know WHAT it is! Now is your chance to find out what your treasures really are…. and what they might be worth.

The Kitsap County Historical Society and the Puget Sound Genealogical Society will hold their 7th Annual Antique Appraisal Fair, Saturday, April 12, 11:00am-3pm. Silverdale Community Center, 9729 Silverdale Way.

Verbal appraisals only.
The cost is $7.00 per item, $30.00 for 5 items

Other events slated for the afternoon will include a special story time, a display on the farm’s history, a visit to the farm’s animals, a large tractor display, coloring table activities, and take-home seed pots children will plant while at the farm.
At the same time, Pheasant Fields Farm will host the kick-off of the annual canned food drive sponsored by the Kitsap Community and Agricultural Alliance to benefit Kitsap families.
