Abel Rocha and Madeleine Sosin together create the musical duo Correo Aereo, (Air Mail). They sing and play traditional and original music of Venezuela, Argentina, and Mexico with great distinction and a gorgeous array of string and percussive instruments. Rocha's high falsetto to lush mid-range voice combines with Sosin's smoky vocals to transport listeners on an unforgettable journey. Voted Best Traditional Mexican/Latino Act and runner up Best World Music Band in the Austin Music Awards, their credits also include the international media broadcast of their Moondive Concert by VPRO TV & Radio, Amsterdam, Holland, National and international touring, is in films including Universal Pictures The Life of David Gale and independent films Before The Music Dies, Happiness Is and Shipibo Konibo., Their music has been heard on Radio/Television’s Democracy Now and NPR. Their song "Fiesta Llanera" was included on Putamayo records' Music of Coffee Lands CD. They have a collaborative track on Norway’s label KKV’s release, Songs Across Walls Of Seperation.Their own CD, Lo Que Me Dijo El Viento (What The Wind Told Me) is itself a sensation, as are their CD’s, Provinces, and Para Cantarle Al Rio, (To Sing A River).
