Kids' Golf Classes - Meadowmeer Golf Course is offering summer golf clinics for kids 6 years and up. The couse has six clinics throughout the summer - 3 beginner and 3 intermediate level - hat are one week in duration 2 hours per day. The instructor is an LPGA teaching pro and her assistants are college students and golf team members. Peninsula Services Holds 3rd Annual Art Auction - The Board of Directors of Peninsula Services is proud to announce the date of the 3rd Annual Art Auction, sponsored by Key Bank: May 9th, 2008 at the Elks Lodge located at 4131 Pine Road NE, Bremerton. May 13 Land Use Code Kickoff - Join City staff for a public meeting on the City's Land Use Code Update, which was initiated to reduce inconsistencies and complexities in the code. The process and timeline will be discussed, along with an initial analysis of strengths and weaknesses of the current regulations. Public input will guide the process of drafting the new code. May 15 Open Space Workshop - In partnership with the BI Metro Park and Recreation District, the City has begun an Island-wide study of the community's green spaces, intended to create a strategic plan for conservation over time. Share your ideas and knowledge about the Island's open space priorities for the future.
