Events at the Tea Room at Port Gamble
1st Annual "DADDY - DAUGHTER PROMISE TEA"
Sunday, June 15th – 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
No matter how old your Daughter is or how old your Daddy is, we have a special date for the two of you to spend together.
We will present each Father and Daughter with a Scrolled Promise (age appropriate) that will further cement your promises to each other:
Daddy's to love and protect & Daughter’s to love and honor.
We will act as witnesses to the two of you signing the Scroll and seal it with a gold seal, presenting it to you to take home.
Traditional Chocolate High Teas will be served with a little something extra for the Daddy’s. Cost: $ 20.95 per person

**Champagne Brunch (Sunday mornings only, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm). Menus and more info will be sent out soon to you. Reservations Required.
July 25th through the 27th will also be the Arts and Crafts Festival held in Port Gamble. These would be wonderful days to have Breakfast, Brunch or High Tea with us. Please call to make reservations.
**Evening Dessert Teas with favorites from Local Wineries (Friday or Saturday evenings, TBD – 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm)
Saturday, July 19th – “LIFE IS SO SWEET” Pink Tea – A Tea designed to inspire, reward and encourage breast cancer patients and survivors, and those who love them.

August 2008:
Saturday, August 2ND – “LIV” Fund Raiser (North Kitsap Life is Valuable) – 10% of all sales made on this day at the Tea Room will be donated directly to “LIV,” a youth suicide prevention and awareness taskforce. Donations will go towards the purchase of books on Depression, Suicide, Pregnancy, Gay/Lesbian and Bisexual Issues, Losses, IE: death, divorce, moving and other topics that are of great concern to our Community. These books will be donated to two (2) School based Health Clinics (North Kitsap High School, Poulsbo and Spectrum Community School, Kingston).
LIV was formed in 2003 as a means to education the community about mental health issues including depression and suicide. They have done community education presentations with survivors of suicide as speakers (those who have lost a loved one to suicide); have sponsored parent forums, spoken at Service Clubs, Churches, and have supported development of crisis plans for schools in North Kitsap and Assist Trainings to implement student lead suicide prevention programs at the secondary level that are taught in the health classes. Friday August 29th, 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. Christopher Buck of “Next STTEP Life Coaching” will be visiting the North Kitsap area from Spokane, WA, doing a seminar on “Seeking to Bring Lasting Change in Life.” His Workshop Topics typical cover issues such as 1) Taking the Nest STTEP, 2) Confidence in a Challenging World and 3) You Have IT Inside YOU! OCTOBER 2008:
Friday, October 31st (Halloween Night, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm) – The floors will creak
in the Tea Room and candles will flicker during the 3rd Annual Halloween
“Victorian Horrors Tea” and Theatrical Reading Event. Edgar Allen Poe, HG Wells
and others will haunt you with tales of horror from the past. This is the perfect event for
a group activity or a date night. It is recommended that children not be brought to this event. Reservations Required.
NOVEMBER 2008:
November 15th – “Cinnamon and Spice” High Tea – Our Tea Room has become known for building new friendships, and at this special Tea Time, it will be no different. Our High Tea Menu will be altered to offer different Tea Sandwiches, Scones and other scrumptious baked goods, along with Teas that are more indicative of the Fall/Winter weather. Also, we ask that all guests bring along a recipe to share with the other guests; favorite Family Thanksgiving or Christmas recipes that you truly enjoy. Bring one copy of your recipe printed on a 4 x 5 card, and we will make copies for everyone to take home in booklet form. Reservations Required.
December 2008
These events coincide with Port Gambles Country Christmas!!)
Saturday, December 6th - Tea with Mrs. Claus (1:00 pm to 3:00 pm) – Mrs. Claus will join us for a 3rd year, sharing stories about Santa, answering questions, taking notes back to the North Pole from children and being her own wonderful self!! She might even serve you your High Tea!!! Reservations Required.
Saturday, December 13th - Tea Cup Exchange (1:00 pm to 2:30 pm) Bring a wrapped Tea Cup to exchange with other guests following a traditional High Tea.
Saturday, December 20th - “’Twas the Night Before Christmas” Tea Time (3:00 pm to 4:15 pm) – “The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there…” Relive the magic of holidays gone by, enjoy holiday cookies, hot cider, hot chocolate’s, and listen to a guest Theatrical Reader recite Clement Moore’s famed poem, as well as other Christmas Time Treasures. This is a great activity for both young and old. Reservations Required.
