Learn how to design and install a rain garden with Kinley Deller, Solid Waste Division of Metro King County. By learning the anatomy of a rain garden you will be creating a system in your landscape that collects, absorbs, and filters stormwater runoff from roofs, driveways, patios, and other areas that don’t allow water to soak in. Rain gardens can be shaped and sized to fit your yard. Participants will receive an excellent Rain Garden Handbook with pictures and graphics describing how to design, build, plant and maintain a rain garden. Please pre-register at 360-297-2876.
