GIG HARBOR FARMERS MARKET OPENS APRIL 5TH

Second weekday Market will open in June


Gig Harbor, Wash. – March 3, 2008, The popular Gig Harbor Farmers Market returns Saturday April 5th and runs through September 27th every Saturday from 8:30a.m. - 2:30p.m. Due to construction of the new Pierce County Transit Center in Gig Harbor, the Farmers Market will move to a temporary location at the Kimball Park and Ride for one year only. The market will return to its normal location when construction is complete in 2009.

The Saturday market is popular with locals and visitors alike. Each Saturday the market evolves with the season and brings something new and exciting from roses and perennials to cut flowers, produce, pumpkins, arts, crafts and more including live music each Saturday.

The successful Wednesday Green Market will return to Skansie Brothers Park, each Wednesday June – August from 11:00a.m.- 4:00p.m. The Green Market presents all locally grown or hand made products in a beautiful waterfront setting. Live entertainment every week makes a visit to Skansie Park on Wednesdays a real treat.
