Morgan Hill Retreat Announces Opening

Morgan Hill Retreat, a new Country Inn one hour from Seattle on the Kitsap Peninsula, is now open. Morgan Hill Retreat offers 5-star amenities amid comfortably sophisticated accommodations created to inspire relaxation and renewal.

With an emphasis on privacy, this adult refuge will indulge those visitors craving extreme self-care. Wrapped in luxurious spa-style bathrobes, guests can enjoy breakfast in their room in blissful solitude or in the dining area with other guests. The wrap-around porch is also a comfortable venue for a delectable morning repast, including fresh eggs produced by Morgan Hill hens.

Rough cut cedar siding, milled on site, covers the farmhouse, evidence of the attention to detail and natural beauty valued at Morgan Hill Retreat. The trout pond reflects the beauty around it and although the Hooded Mergansers and Great Blue Heron rarely release their catch, human visitors are asked to do so.

On-line reservation capability makes it convenient to schedule your stay in one of the three spacious guest rooms. The largest, the Hideaway, is the perfect setting to write the book trapped in your head, or to hide from the world. This comfortably furnished apartment has a living room, bedroom, full kitchen, private bath and private entrance. "We’re happy to pick up books or books-on-tape at the library, or rent movies for guests,” says Inn Keeper Marcia Breece, “and we’ll stock the refrigerator with favorite comfort foods.” The Sunflower Suite offers a large jetted tub, spacious shower, dressing room, sitting area and private entrance. The Olympic Mountains tower to the west and French doors lead to the porch and pond beyond. It is a romantic setting for a couple's retreat or a great space to luxuriate alone in the amazingly comfortable king size bed with sumptuous Egyptian cotton sheets and down pillows. Willow's Watch, with entry through the main house, offers twin beds, private bath, a view of the Olympic Mountains to the West, and the picturesque barn to the South.
